DIARIES OF THE DATING: Sometimes Its Better To Be Lonely Than Be With A LOSER!!!

With the many drastic changes that have occurred in my life in the past three months, it’s a wonder that I have time to blog let alone date right? Well unfortunately for me, I have friends and family members that not only remind me on a daily that I’m getting just a smidge older as the days turn into years, but who forcefully make time for me to venture off into the vast, hopelessly dry desert that is Nassau’s dating scene!

.
My first encounter of the “loser” kind, came when my friend Krissy intrusively decided that I would be taking one for the team, tagging along as the date for her new love interest’s bestfriend.  An unforgettable yet regrettable experience with Max (this we shall call him not because I care to provide him with any anonymity, but because the name sounds more interesting than his actual boring ass name).   Anywho….should I start with the part where I was tricked into this blind date or just jump straight to where the man confessed to being married with kids and still living with said wife??? Yeah, he actually thought this was his way of coming off as honest -_-

.

Let’s just say that from the minute I shaked hands with Max, who by the way didn’t see the need to dress, shave, trim his hair or even bathe for the occasion ****okay maybe I’m exaggerating just a little**** I had set my escape plan in motion.
.
After an hour or so of pretending to listen to this man go from lie to lie, with a few instances of where it seemed even he realized his own statement sounded too far fetched for even a retard to grasp as plauisble, I was done. Had I tried to continue on this train wreck that was Krissy’s idea of a blind date, Max would have known just how much he’d underestimated my intelligence, but hey…was he even worth the drama…NO!

.
So, I guess the moral of this story is…I would live a thousand lives lonely and without a man, than settle for a situation farrrrr less than I am worth. I’m not saying go out there searching for someone as perfect as Prince Charming (he doesn’t exist, trust me I’ve been looking) but let’s try to remember that we’re worth more than we give ourselves credit and I have Max to thank for reminding me of that!

Ah Colin, you make some excellent points. The young lasses on this tropical isle are indeed very nubile and delectable. What therefore can we but expect that man would seek whatever assistance, even if pharmaceutical, to seek sampling of such wonderful fruit. As General MacArthur said, old soldiers never die, they just fade away.I should hope therefore, that such may only fade, after the requisite performance has been achieved! If I may, quote one of our infamous bloggers here..Laaaaddddd!!!
