FASHION FACT: The Average Woman Owns 17 Pairs of Shoes or More!!!

You may find it interesting to know that according to a recent poll released by Shop Smart magazine, the the average women owns atleast 17 pairs of shoes and spend around $49 on each pair; typically buying a minimum of three pairs of shoes every year.

Some other fun facts:
- 39% of women prefer flats above all else
- only 33% have spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes
- 29% feel comfortable buying shoes online
- only 25% have worn shoes that are 4″ or higher
.
Now, the 17 pairs of shoes makes sense. As does the $50 average. But really, only 25% of women have worn shoes that are four inches or higher? I mostly wear flats, and I still think that’s unlikely. Can you even find anything less than four inches at Nine West?

Well, it turns out that the survey consisted of 1,009 interviews completed via householdtelephone. Which means most of the women surveyed are old enough to still have a land line. Case closed.

yes :( it’s become a crutch. I have shoes on top of my closet shelf, in my closet and under my bed…sometimes I smuggle shoes in the house the way ppl smuggle food in the movies. I just love the feel of new shoes, opening the box, smelling that little package your not supposed to open or sniff for that matter, feeling them fit my feet and know that I’m gonna break these in….sometime I buy em just to have them there so I know I have them. I think I can comfortably call it an addiction…I bought a pair of yellow ankle strap wedges the other day just in case….I dont know why I do it. but hey some people have to drink till they get drunk and have sex with stranger to get through life…I just buy shoes.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG me toooooo i hide um in the trunk for like a day or two ^.^ just so i would have to hear people nag me about buying more hahahahahaah and i’m looking at my shelf now like THANK JESUS i’m not alone hahahahahahahahahaha

i knowwwwwwwwwwwwww i was comfortable hiding my disability but hell i’m happy there are others lmao my family made me promise to atleast NOT buy anymore black shoes :P but if i buy a shoe say in 2010 i find that sometime in 2011 or 2012 i’d find a need for it so they never go unloved ^.^
lmao @ the two year gap !! All shoes need love. I have some derreons in my closet I have yet to wear….I feel no outfit is good enough for them. I spot some zebra print ones in Adam and Even I want soooooo bad. Designer, not designer, I don’t care, shhhhhhhhhhoeeessss! I’d wear the same outfit everyday with a diff pair of shoes and a diff bag if I could. I love to match shoes and bags! I bought some white sling back pumps with a wooden heel like two years ago that I’ve worn once that I have vowed to wear this summer when I go through my “light and breezy” style-over crisis I feel I may have in a month.
gal talking bout shoes make me wan take the day off and go shop ^.^ i need new shoes now and I am not gonna feel guilty about buying um i love colors especially colors and i fine its not really the brand of shoes thats lasting u have to be careful cause i have a shit load of gucci shoes that is have me back and forth to the shoe repaiur man. then I have some bad ass guess shoes that i’ve had for years that still looks brand new and of course i try to buy up everything in John’s and sexy thing I died a little inside because i couldnt go to catch 22′s shoe sale….sniff sniff was tryna avoid someone…but i nerly walked right in like bitch i dont care what drama we have i need some a dese shoes O_o
